Brownie's Crystal Ball for This Weekend
Brownie’s Top Ten Picks
-
1 Bama
vs. 11 Miss. St.: I’m taking Mississippi State in the upset here because of
a strong defensive effort and the fact that they will establish the run game
early and often, keeping Bama off the field. Johnathan Banks has the game of
his life by ret….. Just kidding. Bama wins by 30.

Bama 48 –
MSU 18

2 Florida
vs. 10 UGA: I think Florida is a little overrated, and UGA may be a little
underrated. This one will be played in Athens and I think that makes the
difference. It will be close and low scoring but ultimately UGA’s passrush
shows up for the first time and is too much for Driskel.
o
UGA 17 –
Florida 13

3 K-State
vs. 14 Texas Tech: Tech is for real, and Doege may be the best QB they have
had in a long time, definitely the best since Harrell. Still, its in the
shithole that is Manhattan, Kansas and that will be a huge factor. I think Tech
will be emotionally drained following last week, as TCU took everything they
had. Too much (Louis) CK aka The Great White Hope aka Optimus Klein, and
K-State wins by double figures.

- 4 Oregon
vs. Colorado: If Oregon doesn’t break the century mark in this game it will
be out of pure mercy. Three guys will run for over 100 yards and Marioti throws
3 TDs and runs for another in The Flying V’s (that’s my new name for them) last
matchup before the big showdown with the USC Condoms.
o
Oregon 69
– Colorado 14

5 Notre
Dame vs. 8 OU: Unquestionably the game of the week. Also unquestionably the
toughest game for me to watch. Rooting for one over the other will be like
choosing whether I’d rather have Chlamydia or Gonorrhea. Or rather I’d rather
be anally or orally raped. To say I will be cheering for the lesser of two
evils is the understatement of the year. That being said, OU is legit one of
the top 5 teams in the country, and while ND is for real I don’t think they
have really been tested by anyone but Stanford (who scored two times on that
last drive when they were called short). Manti Teo and co. will give Landry
Jones trouble all day, but ultimately ND’s lack of offense is the difference.
OU wins a close, physical, low scoring game.
o
OU 20 –
ND 13

7 Oregon
State vs. Washington: I think THE
OSU actually gets challenged more than most think against a potent Washington
offense, but ultimately too much Beaver Fever.

OSU 31 –
UDub 21

9 USC vs.
Zona: Like a successful one-night stand, the Trojans hold strong.
