Marsh's Week 4 Rankings: The Fall of Troy
Top Ten Week 4
Barely missing the cut Texas (11), TCU (12), Notre Dame (13), Stanford (14), UCLA (15)
The Bark was not too happy after Saturday night's loss |
10. USC-Just like a bad one night stand, the Trojan broke Saturday night. They could still win the Pac-12, but it's going to be much, much harder.
9. Clemson-They beat Furham. It's kind of like walking into Aardvark at 1:52 and trolling for Freshman as a Senior. They're over-matched, you're more experienced and supposedly better. But let's see what happens when you go somewhere more swanky and face more of a challenge.
8. Florida State-Finally? Welcome FSU. Let's see how long you last. But if you keep playing like you did Saturday, it could be for a while.
7. Oklahoma-Off week. Prepared for weeks against K-State and Tech by looking at game film of Klein and forcing everyone to go to an STD prevention class respectively.
6. South Carolina-UAB's chances of survival were about as good as a box of cupcakes in the AD PI chapter room.
5. West Virginia-Still not completely sold on their defenses, but if Geno keeps putting up Heisman numbers they won't really need one.
Even on his emo days, AJ has still been great for Bama |
4. Georgia-Could overlook Vandy and lose. But not likely. Florida's still overrated in my opinion and Tennessee was even worse. No doubt in my mind the Dawgs will be playing for the SEC title in December and possibly for a NC.
3. LSU-They still haven't looked as good as advertised for me. At least not better than Oregon and certainly not Bama. They should cruise the next two weeks against Auburn and Towson. So we have a little while to really gauge their skill
2. Oregon-More speed than a Stones concert in the late 70s, the Ducks have impressed on all levels. Maybe that's what happens when you dress like a badass motherfucker every weekend.
1. Alabama-As much as a don't like them, there's no doubt right now this is the best in the nation. They're building a dynasty like no one's seen since the "U" and Barry Switzer's Sooners. Watching them is truly unreal.
Week 4 Heisman Rankings
1. Geno Smith (88 completion percentage are ya kidding me?!!)
2. De"Anthony Thomas
3. The Bark
4. Colin Klein
Brownie talked about this too, but aside from fumbling a ball in the endzone. Casey Pachall is wowing in stats (33-39, 536 yds., and 5 tds) and has the highest rating in CFB. Let's see if Professor Chaos can continue his greatness.
