Brownie’s Real Top Ten

Brownie posing with some Wall Street wannabe

1.     Alabama – I mean, we all watched the game. I’ll let their performance speak for itself.
2.     USC – They did exactly what was expected of them, but Bama was just better last week.
3.     Oregon – If Mike Gundy was their coach they would have beaten Arkansas State by 100. Their new quarterback is an improvement, and De’Anthony Thomas is in my top three for Heisman contenders.
4.     LSU – the only thing that is holding them back a little bit is their QB play. Mettenburger looked about as shakey as I thought he would in his first start. Their special teams were surprisingly impressive after losing the Honey Badger.
5.     West Virginia – They should have probably been in my initial top ten. Their offense is phenomenal, and sure they can’t play defense but honestly they don’t need to.
6.     Michigan State – They opened a lot of eyes against a surprisingly tough Boise team. The QB situation is a big question mark, but otherwise this team looks pretty solid top to bottom. Bell is my frontrunner for the Heisman.
7.     Oklahoma – They are lucky to still be in this, but they do have talent.
8.     Arkansas – Not having the right coach will bite them in the ass at some point, but right now they have enough talent to win against basically anybody not named Bama or LSU.
9.     Florida State – Marsh hates them, but they are still pretty solid.
10.   Clemson – This one is subject to change
